Yesterday, May 15, 2010, we held our first planning committee meeting at the home of Bobby and Rozano Corbo. They have a beautiful ranch house on a ranch north of San Antonio.
It was decided that we will have two events next May (October if dates don't work out). Friday night we will be at Floor's in Helotes and on Saturday evening we will be Oak Hills Country Club. More details and hotel accommadations will be forth coming.
There were 25 students and spouces at the meeting.

Hi everyone, we are starting to plan for our big reunion, next year. We have committees in place and if anyone wants to work on one, there is plenty of room! I am going to give you an update from time to time and we will probably all come together and meet again in the fall. Some committees have already started working and some can't work until later in the year. We will be getting a contract from Oak Hills soon. In the fall, we need to give Oak Hills a $2,000 deposit and guarantee 150 people. We looked at many places, Ft. Sam Officers' Club, Ft. Sam Golf Club, SA CC, Omni Hotel, Fair Oaks CC, Sonterra, Dominion, Club Giraud. We thought of parking, price, food, size of room, location and decided on Oak Hills. They are allowing us the entire club for the evening. If anyone wants more details, let me know.
I hope I still have your attention because I need anything from Jeff that you have: Hayne/Senate shirts, ROTC, Lasso, band/majorette/flag, cheerleading, etc, etc. Find it and e-mail me what you have. Hopefully, we can put the word out to others, in case the "core group" didn't keep anything! I have a few things--you may have something I haven't thought about.
We are open to any suggestions, as it is everyone's reunion--let's get started!
