“Our 50th Reunion!”
Fellow Classmate:
We hope you had a wonderful Holiday Season! Can you believe it?! We are less than three months away from celebrating another milestone in our lives - our 50th high school reunion. Your reunion committee is looking forward to welcoming you to our Weekend Celebration beginning Friday evening, March 26, 2010, and culminating with a Brunch Sunday morning the 28th. We are hoping that you are planning to attend.
Here is the schedule of events and the cost for each:
Friday, March 26th - 5:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.
A casual get-together at Raymond Russell Park, Pavilion #2. Take The Dominion exit past North Loop 1604, Exit 552, on I-10 West and take the first right after you exit. We will be having a fajita dinner with all the trimmings catered by Martha’s Mexican Cafe and 50’s music for dancing and reminiscing. Soft drinks, tea and water will be provided. BYOB.
Cost will be $15.00 for classmates and $15.00 for spouses and/or guests.
Saturday, March 27th - 6:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.
A business casual dinner (no shorts, no jeans, no TUXES!) and an evening of fun at Oak Hills Country Club, 5403 Fredericksburg Rd, (210) 349-5151. A wonderful buffet dinner will be served. Soft drinks, tea and beer will be provided. A cash bar will also be available.
Cost will be $50.00 for classmates and $50.00 for spouses and/or guests.
Sunday, March 28th - 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
A casual Brunch at Bill and Sonja Harris’s ranch on the Guadalupe River.
Here are the directions to their ranch: Take Hwy. 281 North 15 miles past North Loop 1604 to Hwy. 46. Take a right on Hwy. 46 and go 5 miles to FM 3159. Make a left on FM 3159 and go 1 mile to FM 311. Make a left on FM 311 and go three quarters of a mile to Rebecca Creek Rd. Take a right on Rebecca Creek Rd and go 5-½ miles to their front gate. Follow the gravel road 1 mile to their house. You may park anywhere outside the fence.
Cost will be $10.00 for classmates and $10.00 for spouses and/or guests.
PLEASE NOTE: If you pre-register by March 22nd, 2010, your cost for all three events will be $50.00 for you and $50.00 for your spouse and/or guests. Please pre-register to help us with all our guarantees. Late registration or registration at any of the events will incur the following additional costs: Friday night - $10.00, Saturday night - $15.00, Sunday morning - $5.00.

The reunion last week, March 7 & 8, 2008 was a great success. There was a turnout of 85 at Sig Weiner's home and on the second night there was 105.
Photographs will be forthcoming.
