Jeff Reunions Forum

The Jeff Reunions Forum has been temporarily closed until further notice. We have been invaded by the Russians and they are ruining the site with all type of garbage. Until I can figure out how to prevent this, I am closing the site. In the meantime, keep updated on Jeff at this site.

We have a 50th Reunion coming up in March for the Class of 1960 and we will soon have some meetings for getting organized for next years 50th Reunion for the Class of 1961.

For more informtion on the Class of 1960 Reunion, see their page, Class of 1960.

Hi. My name is Gary Yantis and I am from the Class of 1961. I created this page to aid all classes at Jefferson High School to promote their reunions. Feel free to e-mail me at gary@jeffreunions.com to provide information about your individual class. I will get the information up here just as soon as I am able.

We all love Jefferson and are proud of our association with the school. I have some good photos of the school in the early days as well as those through the year which I will be posting. If you want to get in touch with me by phone call 830-303-9066. Feel free to add photos of your class reunions.

Thank you for visiting our web site. We want you to feel that this is your web site too. Hope to hear from you soon.

Mustangs,

We ate at Karam's, last night.  In fact, half of San Antonio had the same idea.

Anyway, the latest news (from the waiter, of course) is that they will close June 29, 2008. :( Below is a photo of Suzy and Kay (Dukes) Ely on the side of Karam's:

Go "Mustangs", go!

Congratulations to Tommy Nobis for being honored at the UT-Ark game last Saturday, September 27, 2008 when he had his jersey number retired. Below are some photographs thanks to David Sims.

Mustangs,

Suzy and I got to see UT's retiring of Nobis' #60 jersey at the UT/Arkansas game 9/27/08 in Austin.  Of course we are prejudice, but it was great seeing this honor being given to Tommy.  Bobby Lane's #22 was also retired.  Here are a couple of photos:

Nobis and Darrell Royal standing together during the ceremony.  That is Bobby Lane's son (in the orange shirt) is to the right of Coach Royal.

Tommy on the "Jumbotron" doing a great job of giving his acceptance speech (he has become very eloquent in his old age).

Doug Harlan passed away last Friday (11/7/08).  Here is the write-up from the paper:
